Meet Hand Doctor, Daniel J. Murphy, M.D.
In 1987 Dr. Murphy, a member of our orthopedic hand specialist team, began his Orthopedic Surgical Residency at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan before moving on in 1992 to a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at the University of Texas and The Hand Center of San Antonio. Upon completion of his UT Fellowship in 1993, the orthopedic hand specialist James returned to Utica, New York where he practiced hand surgery and earned his recognition as a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1995, with an additional Certificate of Added Qualification Hand Surgery in 1999. Dr. Murphy joined the team at Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists in 2001.
